Enjoy more of an upscale experience and over 40 televisions at this two-story bar in Old Town. The Benchmark is already popular year round for its retractable roof and modern vibes, but it kicks things up a notch on Super Bowl Sunday with special offers to get you through the evening.

“The Big Game” package is $40 per person for a call drink package and one food menu item. Packages run from 5pm until the end of the game. Pre-order deals online via SevenRooms.

Price: If you’re not here for the package deal, visit during any NFL game for $7 Bud Light and Coors Light stadium cups. Otherwise, regular drafts start at $6 for domestic pours. Shareable appetizers average between $9-12.

What to Order: If you have to choose one menu item, their Chicago-style pizza with sausage, peppers, onions, and mushrooms is a fan favorite. If you’re traveling with a group of friends who don’t want to partake in the package deal, their Shot Roulette for eight includes a mix-and-match of shooters that must all include Malört. If you’ve from the city or have visited Chicago before, you already know that the bitter liquor is an acquired taste during any occasion. 

The Fifty/50

2047 W. Division St. (Wicker Park)

This lively Wicker Park bar has quite a few accolades to its name when it comes to the best sports bars in the city. In fact, it’s been on lists featuring the best sports bars in the country. Part of that is thanks to the atmosphere. Expect no shortage of big-screen televisions with 25 different sets to choose from, frequent heckling at those screens, and some of the most delicious wings in Chicago.

If your idea of a Super Bowl watch party in Chicago is about keeping things closer to home, The Fifty/50 also offers catering deals for the big game. Spend at least $100 on your order by Feb. 5 for a $25 gift certificate at pickup. You’re here for that lively atmosphere, though. 

Locals lucky enough to score a general admission ticket on Resy during gametime can put their $50 deposit toward their final bill. Table reservations are $250 per foursome, with that total also applied to the final bill. Both ticket options promise “great times and potential debauchery” as part of the event.

Price: Domestic cans of beer start at $5. Cocktails like their Naughty Lemonade with pink lemonade-flavored vodka start at $12. If you’re here to snack, boneless wings start at $16. 

What to Order: You’ll want to start with those award-winning wings. Go for the regular bone-in style if it’s your first time noshing on these. Their buffalo sauce is most popular. If you’re an Eagles fan, try their Philly Cheese Fake, a vegetarian spin on the sandwich. 

Gaslight

2450 N. Clark St. (Lincoln Park)

Gaslight is a woman-owned neighborhood pub with three full bars, a large covered and heated patio, and a food menu that’s a step above many bar and grills in the area. If you’re seeking Super Bowl parties in Chicago, their $30 deal includes domestic drafts, chili, and a tatcho bar starting at 5pm through the end of the game.

Tatchos are tater tot nachos, by the way, and they’re just as delicious as they sound. Reserve a table via SevenRooms if you’re traveling in a group and interested in the package deal. Space is limited at this one.

Price: Outside of their Super Bowl food and drink package, cocktails start at $11. Order domestic draft beers for $6 or glasses of wine for $10. Shareable appetizers start at $9 for their large baked pretzel.

What to Order: If you’re not here for tatchos, their chicken wings are impressive. Order a platter of six in their mango habanero sauce if you like your wings a little sweet and spicy. If you’re a fan of inventive cocktails, try the Prickly Pear Collins, a flavored vodka drink with just the right amount of fizz.

Lottie’s Pub

1925 W. Cortland St. (Bucktown)

Lottie’s is a classic Chicago pub that exploded in popularity several years ago thanks to regular features on the show Chicago Fire. (If you’re a fan, you’ll recognize Lottie’s Pub for its recurring role as Molly’s, a bar owned by several firefighters on the show.) That name recognition means this is one of the best bars for the Super Bowl in Chicago if you like a crowd. 

Specials that day include $30 party platters (a one-topping 14” pizza, wings, and tater tots) and a variety of drink deals like $6 Miller and Coors stadium cups. Visitors who brave the crowds have a chance at winning $250 in prizes by kicking a field goal, so it may pay off to warm up if this sounds like the place for you. 

Price: In addition to the deals above, you can sip on $7 Ketel One cocktails and $8 drinks featuring Bulleit Bourbon during the big game. Otherwise, expect domestic bottles to start at $5. Apps outside of the party platters also start at $5 and go up to $15 for all of the fried goodies you’d expect at a Super Bowl party: mozzarella sticks, waffle fries, wings, and Lottie’s famous chicken tenders are all available that day.

What to Order: If you’re hungry for more than a snack, Lottie’s slings a great burger inspired by Chicago Fire. It’s the Chicago Fire Burger, naturally. If you want something a little lighter, their Chicago Med Burger is a turkey version named after a related spinoff to the popular TV show. 

The Rambler Kitchen & Tap

4128 N. Lincoln Ave. (North Center)

Two dozen big-screen TVs, interactive football-themed games, and a large (and enclosed!) beer garden await at this spacious North Center pub. If you want a guaranteed good time, The Rambler is offering a $40 food and drink package on Super Bowl Sunday from 5pm until the end of the game. 

Each package include a selection of beer, wine, and premium liquors. Expect bar snacks like a nacho and taco bar, chicken tenders, fries, and tater tots. You can preorder Super Bowl food and drink packages via Toast. If you’re traveling with a group, packages are available as tables for groups of four, six, or eight. Note that a 20% gratuity will be included on all package deals.

Price: If you’re not interested in the package deal, domestic beers start at just $2.50. Expect most shareable appetizers around the $12 mark.

What to Order: The food and drink special will offer you the best overall deal, but if that sounds too indulgent, don’t miss out on their pizza puffs. It’s a Chicago classic and just $6 per puff. The Rambler burger is another crowd favorite with double the patties and layer of brick cheese. 

Weather Mark Tavern

1503 S. Michigan Ave. (South Loop)

You don’t need to go to the usual sports bars when deciding where to watch the Super Bowl in Chicago. The Weather Mark Tavern in the South Loop is a nautical-themed bistro popular as a post-work happy hour hangout. That doesn’t mean they don’t know how to throw a Super Bowl watch party. 

Book a table via Tock for a $15 all-you-can-eat hot dog, bratwurst, and chili buffet, $20 domestic buckets, $6 shots of Jameson, and special giveaways. If more than one hot dog sounds like too much, the tavern is known for its upgraded bar snack menu and Mediterranean-inspired entrees. We told you this wasn’t your usual sports bar.

Price: The Super Bowl Sunday deals sound pretty good at this one, but you can pick and choose from the regular menu, too. Domestic cans start at just $5. Specialty cocktails like their Fireside Cider start at $10. Shareable appetizers average around $14 for snacks like cauliflower bites and Wisconsin cheese curds. 

What to Order: The food menu here is extensive. If four hours of sausages isn’t what you’re here for, order any of their lighter fare. They make great Mediterranean salads, fish tacos, and soups that aren’t part of the chili bar. Try Weather Mark’s Famous Chicken Tortilla Soup if you’re looking to warm up from the cold.
