Popular Chicago content creator @danielromeohh is known across social media for his knack for hunting down fun, authentically-Chicago experiences. Whether it's a unique date night, special occasion celebration or the best new restaurant, Daniel knows about it all. We sat down with the native Chicagoan to talk about his favorite things to do in his hometown. Here are his top 5 things to do, all for less than $25!

1. Museum of Ice Cream

The Museum of Ice Cream is an awesome spot which is just $25 during the week - you can take an additional 30% off if you go before 12:30pm. This museum offers a ton of different ice creams for you to try (for free!) during your tour and they also have interactive games as well. This is a must for a unique date and even more of a must for ice cream lovers. My favorite ice cream there was the hot dog ice cream, which is ice cream that is shaped like a hot dog, served in a hot dog bun and tastes like a hot dog!

2. The Art Institute of Chicago

The Art Institute of Chicago is one of the most popular museums in Chicago. They have artwork from all over the world including paintings and artifacts. I recently went for the first time and I was completely blown away by the amount of exhibits and pieces this museum has. This place is full of content and is a playground for content creators and photographers alike but is also a really cool date idea. This Art Institute is normally $19 for the day but there are a number of free days available for both Chicago and Illinois residents!

3. Haitian American Museum

The Haitian American Museum. This museum costs $8 and just recently moved into a super nice new space. Chicago's Haitian American museum happens to be the only Haitian museum in the Midwest and is the second largest in the United States. This attraction is one of the most unique cultural venues and is a gem for anyone who is interested in art and culture and is one of my favorite museums in the city. This museum has been a stronghold in the Uptown neighborhood for over ten years!

4. Promontory Point

The Promontory Point is one of my favorite places to go in the summer. For those of you who don’t know, a promontory is a point of high land that juts out into a large body of water. In this case it’s none other than our famous Lake Michigan. The promontory point is FREE and offers open fields for your dog, pits for bonfire, and a fantastic view of not only the lake, but of the entire skyline! This place is my hidden gem to catch the summer fireworks with friends while grilling and having a bonfire!

5. The Field Museum

The Field Museum is another one of the most popular museums in Chicago and another one of my favorites. This local and global attraction hosts exhibits of all sorts but my favorite is the classic exhibit showcasing the inside of an airplane. The Field Museum is a must for tourists and never gets old for Chicago and Illinois residents. The Field Museum usually costs $18 for the day but similarly to the Art Institute of Chicago and other museums, there are free days for both Chicago and Illinois residents!
